Joshua Kornreich is the author of five books of fiction. His two most recent novels, Cavanaugh and Horsebuggy, were finalists for the Big Other Book Award for Fiction. His other books are Knotty, Knotty, Knotty, The Boy Who Killed Caterpillars, and Shakes Bear in the Dark. His fiction has appeared in various publications, including Unsaid, Trop, Necessary Fiction, Radioactive Moat, Heavy Feather Review, and The Seattle Review of Books.
After some brief stints in television production and cable marketing, Joshua spent several years as an investment analyst, covering companies across a variety of industries, most notably media and communications, sports and entertainment, education and recreation, marketing and information services, and payment and payroll processing. He holds a BA in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Queens and raised on Long Island, he now lives in Manhattan with his wife and two sons.
